Overall, a very nice lens. It's compact, bright, very sharp and has a nice bokeh. As for its weak points, the only problem I noticed is that once in a while I don't get an accurate focus when shooting wide-open (at f/1.8) with my D200. 23-10-2007 22:25 Rating of this lens: 4/5 hiffle  A really good, cost-effective portrait lens and short-tele. One of my mainstays for low-light sports.
