Reviews This lens has been reviewed at: photozone.de Comments17-11-2012 06:03 Rating of this lens: 3/5 geoffcbassett The range, weight, and handling are good. However the image quality is severely lacking. The bokeh is ugly if you have bright lights in the frame. Corner sharpness from 16-22mm is absolutely horrendous at anything below f/8, and that's not on a pixel level, it's noticeable on 3x5 prints and web images. It's not a pleasing effect either, I took the lens to shoot a family event for a friend that had 5 people in frame and the faces of the people on the ends were blurred horizontally. Another large issue: fringing and chromatic abberations at every aperture. Best thing I can say is the colour rendition is great and the center is sharp at every aperture. But with those other issues I cannot recommend this lens for anything other than casual use.
