I've only had this lens a week and a half, but I love it. Hobby snapper, using a Sony Alpha 200. This is, so far for me, great for inside buildings, and 'large still life' images (beach huts, moored boats, for example).

The lens is also fun for some novelty type shots (get very close and at an angle to a loved one...) But I don't find it just fun as a novelty (which is how I would see a fish-eye, I think), it is actually a useful lens.
